The 2002 Tourney will be located at an all-new two story
log cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN. Built by Timber Tops, their company called
the cabin "Stars and Stripes."
However, from Monday, May 27 - Friday, May 31, 2002, the
cabin will be known as the Joe Louis Arena. Okay, maybe not, since that
would be unfair to one of the participants (Amy). So we'll just call it
The Cabin for now until we come up with a better name for it when we arrive.
Below are pictures of the tournament facilities. The Cabin
comes complete with air hockey table, pool table, jacuzzi, hot tub, queen-size
bed in the upstairs loft (which is where the gameroom is located, so the
tournament participants hope to get the loft), a full-size bed downstairs
with a fireplace, a full kitchen, a living room with TV and VCR (and hopefully
cable, too, so Amanda doesn't miss out on the Wings vs. Avs), two balconies,
and a cool view of the mountains.
